Event Center Construction Development

The new additions to the College Station Depot Benjamin Knox Gallery are coming along. Even though we were set back from the massive amount of rainfall this year, we will be ready for the grand opening on October 26 and 27th, so plan on coming! The new facility will now be called the Benjamin Knox Art Center and will have a custom frame shop, event center, bookstore and gift shop, and more gallery/studio space. We now will be able to have a major cultural impact on College Station and Bryan! Wait until you see the event center space! I designed the facility to have a museum type feel combined with turn of the century train station style architecture with Texas vernacular styling. This is the first time these types of styles have been combined, and it is looking beautiful. Limestone will be placed along the rotunda (in the photographs).
