Raised on a horse ranch outside of Lubbock

Artist statement: "My mission is to leave an indelible positive mark on society and the environment through art, photography, literature, architecture, music, and film."

Education: 1993 BA Environmental Design in the College of Architecture- Texas A&M University

Selected Recent Accomplishments:
2004
- Asked to design the corporate image and identity for Element Restaurant, Club, and Benjamin Knox Gallery Hermosa Beach, California
- Asked to create the official Christmas card for Texas Governor and Mrs. Perry
- Asked to create the identity logo for the City of College Station
- The Federation of Texas A&M Mother's Clubs named their 2004 yearbook in Benjamin's honor
- Asked to create The Texas State Capitol art prints for Texas Governor Rick Perry and Texas Secretary of State Geoffrey Connor to give as the official gift of Texas
- Asked by the City of College Station to create a commemorative painting marking the Sister Cities program with Ciudad Real, Spain. The original painting was given to the Ambassador of Spain to be on display in the Spanish Embassy in Washington D.C.
- Giant murals of Benjamin's artwork were put on display in the new Texas A&M University Football Facility
2003
- Began working with Brian Hanley, Zenray Music in Los Angeles, California
- Asked to create the design for the Native Texan License Plate for the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Made presentation and spoke at the Alamo, San Antonio, Texas on July 4th
- Asked to create the Class of 1998 class gift to Texas A&M University commemorating Silvertaps
- Moved a 1905 caboose to the College Station Depot Benjamin Knox Gallery
- 15th anniversary exhibit of the Benjamin Knox Gallery at the College Station Depot Gallery
- Released fine art prints of Moonrise Mountain Town for the Telluride Jazz Festival at the Frontier Gallery Telluride, Colorado
- Made a presentation to Texas Governor Rick Perry and gave a speech in the House Chamber of the Texas State Capitol, Austin
- Asked by the Texas A&M University Letterman's Association to create a commemorative art piece
2002
- Designed the cover of the San Angelo Aggie Mother's Club Cookbook to generate scholarships
- Asked by the Association of Former Students to create a special art piece to promote scholarship giving to the Diamond Century Club
- Published Texas Aggie Football fine art prints
2001
- Created the prints entitled Red, White, and Blue Out. A special edition generated funds given to the families of the victims of the tragedy of September 11th. The original was purchased as a gift to be on display in the Memorial Student Center, Texas A&M University
- Designed and built a replica of the College Station Train Depot (the most important building in the history of College Station and Texas A&M) to house the Benjamin Knox Gallery and Special Events Center. The facility was dedicated September 28, 2001 by Texas Governor Rick Perry and on October 2 by State Representative Fred Brown and College Station Mayor Lynn McIlhaney
- Designed and built the Texas Park House
- Asked to create the commemorative 125th Anniversary fine art prints for Texas A&M University. Benjamin turned the commission into a fundraising event with a special edition that kicked off a presidential endowed scholarship for $125,000.
- Created the Last Corps Trip fine art prints to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. A special edition was created to aid in scholarships for the Corps of Cadet Association and the Corps Development Council
2000
- Traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe
1999
- Created the fine art prints entitled Remembrance honoring the victims of the fallen bonfire at Texas A&M University with all sales benefiting the Bonfire Memorial Endowment
- Asked by the Texas A&M Foundation to do a commemorative painting and art prints for the dedication of their new facility
- Asked by Texas A&M University Women's Athletics to create the commemorative 25th anniversary art prints
- Co-created the book I knew I was an Aggie When with Duke Hobbs to generate funds for the Cushing Memorial Library, Texas A&M University
- Donated E.B. Cushing original for a fundraising event for the Cushing Memorial Library
- Unveiled an art piece honoring Dat Nguyen and the 1998 Big 12 A&M Football Champions in the House Chamber of the State Capitol of Texas at the request of State Representative Fred Brown
1998
- Created the cover and artwork for the Dallas County Aggie Mother's Club Cookbook to generate endowed scholarships
- Co-created the book A is for Aggie with Cindy Boettcher
- Asked to create the art prints for Brazos Bash benefiting the St. Joseph''s Regional Hospital
1997
- Asked to create the fine art prints, note cards, t-shirt design, commemorative coin design, and first day covers (with the United States Postal Service) for the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum Store.

Contributions: Benjamin is the leader in promoting higher education through fine art in America and possibly the world. He personally signs and donates art prints to all scholarship fundraising and charitable events. He has contributed to and started a staggering number of scholarships and endowments. Thousands of students have received financial assistance to attend college because of his donations.

Permanent Collections: Benjamin Knox's artwork is in the collection of many heads of state, business leaders, celebrities, professional athletes, and institutions. Several hundred of his paintings and drawings have been published as art prints, in books and magazines, and as commemorative items.

Current Focus: Benjamin Knox is a very diverse and young artist with proven and celebrated talent in art, photography, architecture, and writing. His current focus is to continue developing his life-long love for art. He also designs an average of one architectural project per year and balances his time to additionally create music and write. He is planning to learn the skills necessary to be a prominent filmmaker.
