First of 12 Knox prints to kick off A&M Collection

Texas A&M head football coach Dennis Franchione and Texas Aggie artist Benjamin Knox ’90 have combined on a limited edition art print to benefit Texas A&M, the 12th Man Foundation and Coach Fran Charities. This print will be the first in a series of 12 limited edition fine art prints entitled The Aggieland Football Collection which will span the next 12 years.

“I am extremely excited about The Aggieland Football Collection series,” Franchione said. “This first edition is very special because of the way our team embraced playing for the name [A&M] on the front of the jersey, instead of the name on the back.”

The print is entitled “ONE NAME, ONE TEAM.” All of the prints will be signed by Franchione and Benjamin Knox and numbered. The release date for the prints is scheduled for the week of Dec. 20 and the prints can be ordered at the College Station Depot/Benjamin Knox Gallery and on the website at www.benjaminknox.com/coachfran as well as CoachFran.com.

The print has Franchione with his headset on and the team surrounding him wearing maroon home jerseys and the facade Home of the 12th Man in the background.

The original will be sold by auction at a time to be announced.

The prints available include 1,200 fine art lithographic prints (image size 10x17) for $75 unframed and $275 framed; 120 Giclee art prints on Arches watercolor paper (image size 14x23) for $395 framed; 120 Giclee on canvas prints (image size 20x29) for $495 framed; 12 Giclee prints on Arches watercolor paper signed by the entire football team and coaching staff at $1,700 each.
