CREATIVE APPROACH:
“I want to create stories that have a powerful,
positive message. Stories that are uplifting, thrilling, and
humanitarian. Stories that make you think on a different plane.
Film is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling. It can
transport the viewer to a completely different place, time,
or state of mind simply with a set of visuals and music. I approach
film making the same as painting or writing. I love to create
an atmosphere or mood to immerse the viewer or reader in; where
they feel that they are part of the story. I want to creatively
combine color, composition, and music to make the experience
an emotionally moving piece of artwork. I think that the transition
between images should be treated with more importance than it
is in film making today. I want to break the mold, or formula
that is so prominent in American movies, and create films that
are more expressive and creative- like walking into a favorite
painting.”
