Kids' Art Camps

Kids' Art Camp provides an opportunity for children to develop & expand their artistic skills. Your child will be lead on a creative journey to discover art! The schedule for the Kids’ Summer Art Camps is usually announced in April. Sign up to receive Benjamin Knox Gallery updates regarding Kids’ Art Camps.

Registration forms should be filled out and faxed, emailed, or dropped off at the gallery. A spot will not be reserved for your child until payment has been made. Space is limited.

June 16-20 Exploration In Color: Experiments with color and how they all work together.
June 23-27 Name That Artist: A study in the masters of art.
July 7-11 Where The Wild Animals Are: All kinds of animal fun, from working on animals in their habitats to creating their own animals.
July 14-18 Solar System Sillies: - Anything and everything to do with space, from the planets to aliens.
July 21-25 Rockin' Reptiles: Everything reptiles from snakes and turtles to crocodiles and lizards.
July 28-Aug 1 Explore Art Around The Globe: Create art styles from all over the globe.
Aug 4-8 The Great State of Texas: .Everything Texas, from our state symbols, to the vast landscapes of our great state.


Do you make exceptions for mature 5-year-olds?
No. Your child must be 6 years old at the start of camp.

What does my child need to wear to camp?
Campers should wear comfortable and layered clothing that can get dirty or soiled with art materials. Please be aware that some art materials, such as acrylic paint, can be difficult to remove from clothing.
